Integrated Math 2

This course introduces the student to logic and sound reasoning as used in mathematics through the study of geometric figures and their relationships, and of proofs as applied in Euclidean plane geometry.

Integrated Math 2 AB

Prerequisite: Completion of Integrated Math I

First course of a two-year Integrated II program designed for students who need a slower pace and algebra / number skills review.  This course focuses on quadratic expressions, equations, functions, geometry, statistics and  probability.
 

Foundations in Personal Finance

Foundations in Personal Finance is a course designed to help students understand the impact of individual choices on occupational goals and future earnings potential.  Topics covered will include income, money management, spending and credit, as well as saving and investing.  Students will review basic math skills and their application in a consumer setting.  Students will design personal budgets, simulate use of checking/savings accounts, demonstrate knowledge of finance, debt, and credit management, and evaluate and understand insurance and taxes.  This course will provide a foundational understanding for making informed personal financial decisions.

Quanative Reasoning with Advanced Math Topics (QRAT)

Prerequisites: Integrated Mathematics III
Graduation Requirement: Yes - UC/CSU 'C'
 
QRAT Senior Math is a problem-solving-based curriculum with emphasis on collaborative student work. This course is designed to strengthen mathematical foundation and to prepare students to be successful in college level math.  Students will learn problem solving strategies, improve math skills, learn about finances and investments, and be better prepared to bypass remedial math courses in college.
