Graduation Requirement: World History

Students who plan to take this course are responsible for picking up summer assignments from the instructor. Once a student and parent commit to enrollment in any Honors/AP course, the student is required to remain in the class for at least a semester. This course offers an approach that lets students “do history” by guiding them through the steps an historian would take in analyzing historical events and evidence worldwide. The course offers a balanced global examination representing Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Students are encouraged to take the CollegeBoard Advanced Placement exam in May.
