This is an upper-level course for advanced musicians who have had at least two years of high school vocal experience. Emphasis will be placed on strengthening vocal technique, sight singing, music theory, and history. Students will sing a variety of medium to advanced level literature from all stylistic periods, including vocal jazz. There will be many performance opportunities throughout the year. This ensemble will at times sing with the Bear River Voices under the title of Concert Chorale. All members of this ensemble are expected to practice daily outside of class and be listening regularly to choral recordings
